This professional course qualifies you with an Accredited Award in Coach Training certified by The Association for Coaching. Delivered live and online, you can join the Connect 3 Coaching community from the comfort of your own home.

Your learning will allow you to coach, support and empower children and young people so you can have the maximum positive impact on their mental health and wellbeing.

The Children’s Coaching Course is designed especially for those who want to gain a unique and valuable professional coaching toolkit to enable you to work with children and families.

As a student, you will receive a year’s FREE membership to the Association for Coaching, where a world of resources and CPD are at your fingertips.

You will also gain access to The Children's Coaching Community; a network of like-minded people who are passionate about supporting children through coaching. This will provide a safe space to share ideas, resources, referrals, peer support and friendship as you learn to navigate your coaching journey.

What Does The Course Involve?

The Children’s Coaching Course begins online with a Welcome Call for all participants in January 2026, and involves over 40 hours of live teaching time. The six modules are spread over a number of months to allow learning to be practised and consolidated in between teaching sessions. To gain your qualification, you’ll also be required to complete several hours of self-study and independent coaching practice in addition to class-based practice (full guidance and support provided).

How much does it cost?

On successful completion of this course, you will be trained to work as a Coach with children and young people and fully prepared for individual accreditation by The Association for Coaching.

In order to gain your Accredited Award in Coach Training, you will need to do:

- 35 hours of live training

- 15 hours of self-study (full guidance and support given)

- 6 hours of coaching practice (in addition to class-based practice)
